Basic & Advanced ERCP

Overview: Barbara Zuccala, MSN RN CGRN presents "Basic & Advanced ERCP" on behalf of SGNA.

Review an overview of the foundation of ERCP as well as discuss and prepare for advanced ERCP interventions.

 At the conclusion of this presentation, the participants will be able to:

1.  Describe the concepts, techniques, supplies and equipment necessary to perform the following interventions.

2. Demonstrate skills on ERCP interventions.

3. Discuss ERCP overview in terms of principles, indications, anatomy and physiology of organ/ structures involved, radiation safety, endoscope and medications used.

The Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates, Inc., is accredited as a provider of Continuing Nursing Education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This course is worth 1.5 contact hour(s). Contact hour(s) expire on 12/12/2022.
