Review of CDC Guidelines for Safe Injection Practices as they apply to each care area and strategies to improve practice.
At the conclusion of this presentation, the participants will be able to:
1. Describe how non-compliance with safe injection practices has impacted patient safety. 2. Discuss the key principles of safe injection practices. 3. Identify patient care activities that require adherence to safe injection practices. 4. Discuss barriers to compliance and strategies to remove those barriers.
