Gastroenterology Nurse Practice Volume 2, Issue 1 - IBD

Learning Objectives

1. List the common risk factors thought to contribute to the development of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
2. Identify prognostic factors that suggest a more or less severe disease course of IBD
3. Assess the clinical viability of specific tools and tests that may be used to track the progression of IBD
4. Discuss the impact of diagnostic delay in patients with IBD
