While diet is not the cause of Inflammatory Bowel Disease many disease sufferers follow food exclusion diets. Nutritional deficiencies in patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease can increase symptoms and further delay disease remission. In this session, examine evidence-based research that can assist patients in achieving a diet that supports energy needs, provides adequate vitamins and minerals, and improves symptoms.
