Lovey Reynolds, PhD, MSN, RN, CPN, CNE presents "Enhancing GI Nursing Practice: An Introduction to Research Interpretation, Quality Improvement, and Evidence-Based Practice" on behalf of SGNA. In this webinar recording, Lovey Reynolds, will:
1. Introduce the basics of interpreting research findings.
2. Provide an overview of quality improvement (Q1) methodologies.
3. Introduce evidence-based practice (EBP) fundamentals in GI nursing.
4. Provide an example of the EBP process in GI nursing.

Can I earn nursing contact hours for webinars?
Upon successful completion, all attendees can earn nursing contact hours.
How can I earn ABCGN Category 1 Contact Hours?
Clinical webinars that are released and available for viewing in 2024 will follow the process below for earning ABCGN category 1 contact hours. Successful Completion of this accredited continuing education activity is based on:
1) Being registered for this activity,
2) Viewing of the entire webinar within 30 days of the release date, and
3) Completion of the Evaluation.
- Participants must register (members) or purchase (non-members) and successfully complete the webinar within 30 days of the release date to earn category 1 Contact Hour. Category 1 contact hour will be awarded through September 12, 2024.
- Participants will have the ability to ask questions regarding the webinar by submitting them to info@sgna.org and referencing the title of the webinar. The questions will be forwarded to the presenter. At the end of the 30 days, the submitted questions and the answers will be sent to anyone who has completed the webinar.
- Participants successfully completing the webinar within the 30 days will earn a Category 1 Contact Hour. Successful Completion of this accredited continuing education activity is based on:
What if I am unable to complete the webinar within 30 days of its release?
If you are unable to successfully complete the webinar within the 30 days, you can still earn nursing contact hours. However, the contact hours will be ABCGN Category 5.
